Computer Crashed, Daz Load Times Went Crazy

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

So while a scene was loading, my computer crashed.

Since then, every time I've tried to load a scene, it's literally taken over an hour to load.

Wondering how I could fix this.

Reinstall a new copy of my library?

New full install?

Both as maybe my library is somehow corrupted but I also need a full install?

Any insight into this would be awesome. Thanks.

    4.20.0.17 PRO 64

     

    Every time I've tried to upgrade to 4.21 or 4.22, my content library disappears and can't be brought back even by going to the windows>panes menu.

    I've never encountered that problem. Strongly suggest you save a User Layout before updating to newer version. Load back Layout as needed after upgrade and save a Layout again. Backup %AppData%\DAZ 3D\Studio4\, just in case...

    Just did a full reinstall and it didn't work. I'm wondering if my library is somehow corrupted. Thank God I have a backup. Going to try to restore it from the backup and see what happens.
