studio 4.21 still running after studio 4.22 shows installed?

so i went through install manager it claims to have installed Studio 4.22
I click my desktop icon, it runs 4.21. grrrrrr.

i search around and find that something that claims to be 4.22 installed in a totally differnt directory.
fine
so i run the DAZStudio.exe (properties claim it is 4.22) and still get something with a splash screen claiming 4.21?

did i mess something up?

I am too scared to click the "uninstall" on installer, i have no idea what version or files it will try and remove.

 

any advice ?

    I had a similar problem last night and went back to DIM which showed another 4.22 install, which jnstalled and ran fine.

    Double-check the configuration of DS Software Base path in Advanced Settings - Installation tab. Then reinstall DS.

    Better have a backup of 4.21.0.5 IM package...

    There has not been a second version of 4.22.x.x, and DIM will show the name as 4.22 (or whatever is current) when online, since that is the name on the server.
