Render Animations in iRay Preview

Greetings,
Sometimes (very often actually) i find myself more than satisfied with a scene "rendered" in just iRay Preview mode. Does anyone know if there's a feasible way to render an entire animation using iRay preview only? So, basically, using the preview mode as a render engine?
Thank You in advance!

You mean you wanna preview the animated range on the timeline with NVIDIA Iray Preview drawstyle 'ON' ? or like a real-time render engine ?
Nope, AFAIK, Nvidia iray render engine is a typical offline render engine. Preview is different from final Render in DS.
I wonder if this would work - never tried it:
What do you think?
Sometimes the final render output gets smoothed out more than in the viewport. If that's what you're after, try this:
Render pane > Progressive Rendering tab:
Render pane > Filtering tab:
Those few things should get you closer to what you're looking for - if I'm reading you correctly. And as long as everything else improtant to render quality is still at their default values.
Max Samples will then be your guide to the final outcome and it will bypass Max Time unless the time is up earlier than the Max Samples. So we can just leave that at default.
I go with 500 Max Samples on Rosie because of her hair. She gets too many fireflies with anyhting less. But for my background characters I set it to 150 or even less and the renders zip through in seconds!
Ouch... no...., my Viewport is being burned
Thank You crosswind and Dartanbeck for your comments, i've tried to do what Dartanbeck said, but the result is an .avi with the figure shaded in grey, without textures... quite strange
I hope you figure out a happy solution for you.
If you need anything from me, and I'm not responding to a thread, just hit me up with a PM - always happy to help if I can.
Then again, crosswind is far more seasoned, and I think crosswind actually lives "IN" the forums!!! LOL
