Hi all,
Maybe stupid question but how is it possible to know dimensions of a specific prop : i have a box (rectangular) and would like to know the sizes of that box...
Oher question, how to set specific sizes to a prop if i would like for example, to resize an other box with specific dimensions...
I coul use a primitive with specific size to compare them but it seems not very precise...
thanks a lot

there is this https://www.daz3d.com/measure-metrics-for-daz-studio
Are you metric or do you use your feet for measurements?
When making a primitive cube, one can specify the dimensions. Make a cube with 1 meter sides and one has a scale, scaling it to 50% makes the sides half a meter each and scaling it to 200% makes the sides 2 meters each. One can also scale each side separately.
There's also "MWall 2.0 for Daz Studio" by SpyroRue at DA (free)
But seems to work only with character... I get the following message =>
That is strange. The description includes "The Measure Metrics plug-in will allow you to measure the length, diameter or angle of figures and props in your scene".
And have this promo image
I don't have it so I can't check.
Thats the reason why i bought this...
Measure Metrics is a plug-in that allows you to create measures for anything. Figure Metrics is a script included with Measure Metrics that has wearables for loading a suite of measures onto a supported figure, and then optionally run a series of iterations to use nominated properties to bring the figure to a specified set of values for the measures.
For your prop you would need some tape measures http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/plugins/measure_metrics/start
Recommend a simplest and quickest way for OP's case: Use Tape Measures + Align plugin + simple calculation. 100% accurate.
