Is there a way to add a glint, like the one you would see from a sniper scope?

    Yeah. like something you would see in COD when someone scopes in on you.

    If they're like the ones in the pic down below, I'll definitely go for a post work after rendering, by using some brushes in Ps.  There seems to be some VDB props in some products.. but not sure if there's any 'glint' prop which could be used in the scene.

  • That is unphysical, unless there is a bright light on your camera - a real glint would the sun or other source being at the right angle that when it hit the lens and bounced off it travelled to your eye (or the camera in this case) - which would be if it was coming from you, since the scope would be flat on, or close to allowing for the possible curve of the front of the lens.
