Hello,

I would need some help about the Avija Wings (https://www.daz3d.com/avija-wings-and-tail-for-genesis-8-and-81-males). When I apply a material, there is still a lttle part white in the back. This white part appears also on the render.

Could you tell me how I can fix it, please?

Thank you in advance.

The white part is supposed to take the skin texture of the figure.

    Instructions from the Readme: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/84716/start

Copying Materials for Wings and Tail:

To create a smooth transition between the wings, tail and the humanoid body of your figure, follow the steps below (example used here is Genesis 8 Female with matching wings and tail – see details at the end of this subsection on how to proceed with Genesis 8.1 Female):

    • Step 1: First select the Genesis figure in your scene and select the “Torso” material. Right-click on it and select “Copy Selected Surface(s)”.

    • Step 2: Select the wings in your scene tab and navigate to toe “Torso” material. Right-click on it and select “Paste to Selected Surface(2)”.

    • Step 3: Now enter the key word uv in the search window of the surface tab. In the pulldown menu, select “G8F Base” as UV set.

    • Repeat this step with the tail figure if needed.

When using Genesis 8.1 the surfaces are named differently, and there is an additional surface called “Head” which also needs to be copied to the wings. See the listing below on which material needs to be copied to which wing/tail surface:

    • Genesis 8 “Torso” → Wings “Torso” (G8 UVs) and Tail “Torso” (G8 UVs)

    • Genesis 8.1 “Body” → Wings “Torso” (G8.1 UVs) and Tail “Torso” (G8 UVs)

    • Genesis 8.1 “Head” → Wings “Head” (G8.1 UVs)
