Daz can not open file

After downloading file with install manager or Daz central, the Daz application can not open file.

    You mean you installed a product with Install Manager (or DC), then you can see the product in Daz Studio (Smart Content or Content Library), but you cannot load the product into the scene (Viewport) ?

    What error message do you get, if any? What is the file - most presets (Materials, Poses) need a target object loaded and selected.
