The other day I switched to a different adapter for one of my monitors, caused Windows to assign a new device ID to it, had to do-over my NVidia surround config.

But what was unexpected: I have a setup like this for Daz:

with screen 1 having a floating dock with Scene, Parameters and other tabs, 2 beind main viewport, 3 has another dock with Content Lib and other tabs.

1 was the affected one, and when loading Daz, the left Dock wouldn't show up. When looking into the workspace layout files in AppData/Roaming/DAZ 3D/Studio4/user layouts/ the fresh saved .dsx file even mentioned a "lost left dock" - I saw no easy way to fix the assignment in the file.

I ended up recreating the dock. Is there an easier way?
