Trouble after latest Windows 11 update

Ever since I installed the latest Windows 11 update I've been have trouble with DS.  When I go into NVIDIA preview mode, or when rendering a scene the machine starts to lag terribly.  Mouse lag is so bad it's barely useable.  Anyone else experience this?  Any ideas on how to remedy?  I just updated my graphics driver, so it's not that.

    I used Geforce Experience, because that came with the computer.  But the driver that nvidia.com directs me to is the same  version as the one I have installed.  Would it be worth it to reinstall from NVIDIA?

    Not sure about DS, but I know the last few graphics driver releases has been bad for AI generation. It does something screwy, and offloads stuff from VRAM to scratch disk which makes it a bajillion times slower if you don't need to do it. When it comes to drivers, I really don't update that, unless I need to, like for a new feature I want to try, or fix for a game I actually play or whatever.
