Daz Connect library disappeared?

I used to have a "Daz Connect" library that automatically appeared in my Content Library tree (see first image) but somehow it has now disappeared (see second image.) How can I get this library back? Right now all my Daz-purchased products are only available under "Smart content" and my externally, manually installed products are only available in the Content Library. Very frustrating...

Note: I've tried the "easy stuff" - refresh, stop/start CMS, even reinstalled Daz Studio. Nothing seems to help.
Can you show us the content libraries you have in DS preferences? (Edit > Preferences > Content > Content Directory Manager)
Content directory Manager:
The Daz Connect library is there, albeit empty, in that new screenshot.
Screenshot is incorrect, that is my fault, I had just added the Daz Connect Library after seeing in the content manager. The "My Daz Connect Library" icon was not present before I tried adding it manually. Please note that the icon does not match the previous icon, I don't think it's being recognized as the actual "Daz Connect" library.
Ah, yes - sorry. I've not seen others with this, and I am not sure how it could happen - if the features that depend on the database, are working and the files loading then everything neede shoould be there. What happens if you right-click on a file in thr Smart Content pane - for a product installed through DS? There should be a Show Asset In sub-menu - what entries does it have?
Everything seems to be there, I'm just having trouble locating it. For example the product "Beth for Genesis 8 Female" only shows up under \Products\B\Beth for Genesis 8 Female, but it doesn't show up under "People" or "Characters" in the categories. "Instead it shows up under Categories\Default\People\Female\Real World" and only shows as "M3DBeth.duf".
It's very frustrating. I am getting ready to simply uninstall, delete and reinstall the whole shooting match. Right now everything seems hopelessly muddled.
Well, the uninstall/reinstall did not make the content library come back - I think I will just ignore the problem and soldier on.
