The term good is relative to the person watching the film , Do you mean can you make Pixar Disney quality animations? Properly with a large team of people and lots of work you could produces a decent animation with quailty.but I would hate to think of the render times it would involve
But the real question is can the average Joe make a decent animations with daz studio. ... the answer to that is Yes! even with the most basic of skills you can make a decent basic animation and with time and patient you can makes pretty sweet animations by yourself.. . Maybe not Disney quality, but depending on your director skills and how good your skills are at creating animations. you can make very entertaining films with daz studio . you just have to beware the limitations of daz Studio as a animation tool. So if you expecting Disney Pixar type quality films your going to need to expect to put in the wrench time to achive it. Its not impossible, just loads of work & rendering
My latest film I createsd using daz Studio Karate Girl in the shadows of the past. this took me 16 weeks to build the story board and animate and render , its not Disney , But still entertaining
TNX ... I watched your animation it was inspiring . wish I had you in my team
Thanks for the compliment & offer. But I am already spoken for :)
Take a look at Rosa, a short film created by comic-artist Jesús Orellana..http://www.blendernation.com/2011/11/22/rosa/
"I used Daz Studio as the base program, everything was planned, animated and rendered in Daz Studio. I used Blender to model and modify props, as well as for all the physics like for example cloths, plastics or blood that were later added in post-production to the Daz Studio Renders."
There's some decent youtube videos on animating with the Studio, but also check out the animation threads (which were moved to Art Studio section btw.) There's people with all different skill levels. (Love Ivy's stuff, watched the clips for years!)
Deletem message.
