Hi guys,

at the moment i am experimenting with the "Dynamic Martial Arts Gi for Michael and Victoria 4" on genesis 2 female. The jacket is perfect and i have nice results but the pants are really tricky. Every time its falling down to the ground or under the ground. I did collision on the g2f figure and the ground and the pants too but i dont know what i made wrong. I hope someone can help me with the problem :)

best regards

Kayto

Did you set both items to collide with the entire figure? Dynamic collision settings can be a bit finicky — if you try to collide too many objects that are nowhere near your dynamic cloth (so they'll never collide anyway) the collision system will occasionally fail and your cloth will start to fall through things.

Try adjusting the jacket collide settings so the figure's legs and feet are deselected, and the pants collide settings so that the figure from the chest up (including arms, hands, and head) is deselected. Fingers and toes are especially problematic; there's a lot of them, they're small, so dynamic cloth tends not to drape over them very well.

This is pretty much a general principle; only set collisions for items that can concievably collide. Setting it for items that can never collide (e.g. shirt and feet) means the dynamic drape will be doing calculations for something that can't happen. Cut this down as much as you can, and your drapes will run more smoothly.
