Hi,

What is the recommended hardware list to use DAZ effictively?  Rendering with IRAY is painfully slow.  Is there a faster rendering engine?  

I have a Windows 10 computer with an I7 CPU, 12 GB of RAM, and a NVIDEA Video Card with 6GB of VRAM.  Recently I purchased a more powerful computer with Win 11, I7 CPU, 16 GB RAM but a relatively weak Video Card with 2 GB of VRAM. In the future I will install DAZ on the Win 11 computer but not until I get a decent video card.

I heard that AMD makes Video Card's that are more cost effective than NVIDEA Video Card's.  Do they work well with DAZ?

    Daz Studio Iray does not work with brands of graphics cards other than NVIDIA. Iray is an NVIDIA product.

    And practical minimum 8GB's of VRAM on that Nvidia GPU. 

    The RTX 3060 12GB is a good card

    One should also get minimum 32GB's of RAM

    To be more precise, DS itself can use other graphic cards, but Iray will render with your CPU in that case. Which, as you already noticed, is slow as molasses.
