installed videos

Hello.

I am wondering if someone could explain where to find purchased videos.

Example: I purchase a tutorial and install it using the DIM. Where would I find it? Is the a place within DS that tutorials get put?

    Normally you can find them in the sub-folder named 'General' in your Daz Library root directory... Or RMB-click on the installed package in DIM - Installed tab, Show Installed Files...

    Interestingly, I DO find a "General" folder in my DAZ Library root directory and there are folders with the names of many vendors/artists but nothing seems to be within those folders. They all seem to be empty.

    I have a "Tutorial" folder also. But that too is empty.

    Within DS or with Windows Explorer?

    Daz Studio does not support or play videos, you need a third party app for that. VLC is quite possibly the best video player availablee, and it's free.

    What I ended up doing was downloading the videos manually and watching them with media player.

    You are not going to find them there in most cases as they are not DS supported file formats, you need to look with the Windows Explorer.

    After installing the tutorial produs with Install Manager, simply click to open the folder :

    Or, with File Browser, directory : Your Daz library\General, search *.mp4...
