DIM does not download content

Trying a new daz3d software install on my new pc but DIM does not want to download the software. The log shows a "SSL Error: Unable To Get Local Issuer Certificate - The issuer certificate of a locally looked up certificate could not be found : Certificate is valid"

Does anyone know what could be the problem.

The firewall is not the problem so it must be DIM

I had the same problem a few days ago. It eventially worked but i'm not sure why exactly here is what i did in chronological order:

-I installed windows on a new pc.

-Tried DIM and it didn't work with the same error message as yours

-came to the forum to ask for help

-someone suggested to download a GoDaddy certificate or something like that

-before i did that i reinstalled windows(probably not necessary in hindsight)

-i installed Daz Central as an alternative for DIM.

-Daz Central worked but i didn't like it so i uninstalled it and installed DIM again.

-now DIM worked for some reason.

i would suggest you to try to install Daz Central and see if it works, then deinstall Daz Central if you don't like it and see if DIM works now.

or you could try the godaddy methond. here is the link to my help question on the forum. there is a link that explains the GoDaddy method if you want to try that.

It is an issue with DIM:

    One possible solution is here:

EDIT: I did not read the previous post fully, it links the same post :-)
