Are Iray lights compatible with Octane Rendor?

Lights designed for 3delight don't really work well with Octane, but Iray is a similar setup to Octane, so I was wondering if I purchase light sets designed for Iray if they would be relatively compatible with Octane render. If you have the answer to this riddle let me know ? :)

Probably not.  It has nothing to do with the visible, user exposed settings and such, but rather the renderer specific code that lies beneath it.
