Shell settings Always Get turned On back after a character re-apppear

Sometimes accidetanly I deleted a character, if I undo, the shell that I've turned off, got turned on back. Is there a solution to this?
It's annoying.

If you set Opacity slot of surface on the geoshell to 0, they won't appear after undo. But if you use toggles of Visibility, nope, there's no workaround...
Be aware that visibility actually hides the mesh, so it doesn't get sent to the render engine, while opacity just makes it see-through, so it is sent to and evaluated by the render engine.
