using HDRI Beach scenes

Can someone please help me with this issue I have recently had a LOT of pxs with.  I have been using sunny beaches part 1 hdri.  On a number of these i have had no problems but then randomly out of nowhere my render will have a hot pink background and NOT the damned scene I have chosen for my render.  FYI my machine is up todate I have plenty of space to render with I only have 3 gen 8 characters in the scene.  NO i do not have spot lights on them.  What the HELL am I doing wrong or what am I forgetting to do.  Any help as always will be greatly appreciated.
