Locking joints?

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Is there a way to lock a section of the body on G8F (feet, metatarsals, and toes in this case) so that they will not be affected by poses? I've locked them in the Parameters tab, but many poses just blow by that and re-pose them anyway.

 

Very frustrating.

    Locks do work... How did you lock the joints? Lock Selected Nodes Pose?

    No. I selected the parameters for the toes, metatarsals, and the feet, and clicked  on the lock button for each of them. Applying a pose till has the feet moving to a bend of 65 or so.

    Pls try this -: Select G8's "Left Foot" in Scene pane, RMB menu - Expand - Expand from Selected, Shift + Select all nodes from "Left Foot" to "Left Big Toe_2", then go to DS menu: Edit - Figure - Lock Selected Node(s) Pose. In this way, they'll be fully locked. Press Shift + U to unlock them.
