gen 8 expression on gen 9?

Hello iv saw some nice gen 9 characters that i want to buy but before i do i wanted to ask can you use an expression from gen 8 on to gen 9? reason i ask i use a lip sync for gen 8 chars and i don't want buy gen 9 if i cant use the lip sync feature.

No. The bones all have different names between G8 and G9. So, poses, and expressions are not compatable. In either direction.
