installing genesis 3 starter essentials

in New Users

I have installed to 2 locations and when I load her I get this error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Any suggestions?

    Genesis 3 Starter Essentials doesn't hae Poser Compaion Files, so how are you even getting to that point? Do other items, which do have PoserCFs, load OK? Which version of Poser are you using?

    I just bought poser 10? I have not used poser in years. All so new again to me.

    I have no clue how to use genesis. I searched for a base model but in my account folder all I get is the genesis 2 essentials

    as well as there is a genesis 2 base female to load in characters under Daz people.

    Yes, Genesis and Genesis 2 Female/Male all have Poser Companion Files and can be used with the DSON Importer. For Poser 10 you need the 32 bit version of the DSON Importer (even if your operating system is 64 bit) - is that what you installed? Did you install via the Isntall Manager or using the stand-alone installer?

    hahahaha, sorry, I feel so lost here. I have been trying to find which one I installed. On my downloads page I Just downloaded the install manager there.

    ok, I gather I did not download it at all. I am doing so now.

    Poser 10 is only 32 bit so you have to install the 32 bit of DSON. What I do is install everything except DSON into DS library and add that library in Poser. That way most the stuff you see will work but Genesis 3 don't have companion files so can't be used.

    You have to install DSON into your main Poser literarily meaning the program x86 folder.

    i was just about to ask where to install it, thanks. So you manually install to DS folder?

    All my content yes. DSON has to be installed to Poser main folder
