Scott HD Add-On

If I understand correctly, I can't just buy the Scott HD and use it. I have to also buy the regular Scott model as well? Does that mean the HD isn't a model in it's own right?

    Neither Scott nor Scott HD are "models in their own right", in a literal sense. Scott 6 is, among other things, a shape for Genesis 2 Male and the Scott 6 HD shape is an additional detailing layer that is designed to go on top of that. The HD add-on will work without the base, but it may not look right in at least soem places as it is designed to layer over the base Scott 6 shape.
