Assuming it is in Daz Studio (or Poser) format, where is your content directory (or if you have more than one, the one you want to use for the content)? For Windows just take the Data, Runtime, and any other folders at the same level from the zip and drop them in the Content directory - you should then be asked if yiou want to merge them with the existing folders, say yes. The content will then be available in the Content Library pane under Daz Studio (or Poser) Formats.
How can I import third party figures and models into Daz Studio?
There are a few ways.
FBX import may well be the best for a general 'Third Party' model. However, using the bridges with specific software targets such as Blender & ZBrush you may get better results with those.
If you can only get an OBJ file, they come with no rigging, and you'd need to create the rigging in DS yourself. That is.. a challenge.

Richard.
I should have been more clear with this. I am trying to import a figure asset with runtime file. Thanks.
If it has a runtime file.. is it a Poser asset? If so, it should be possible to install into the library - but I had better shut up as my Poser knowledge is small & very out of date. The first & last version of Poser I had was Poser 4, which I stopped using in 2005.

Richard

Thanks all.
I tried as Leana directed, was a now go. Can you give the full file direction, as 'user/public douments " Thanks. I am not very tech smart.
What is the runtime structure of this third party figure? that you have. some freebies mess up the file structure, because when the standard instructions dont work, its usually a problem with the way the product was setup.
Was the product setup for poser?
Was the product setup for DazStudio?
Was the product setup for some other rendering software?
