DAZ as FBX to Clip Studio

I have Exported an FBX from DAZ Studio with multiple figures. I open it in Clip Studio Paint EX 2.0: No problem, all figures display correctly. I can actually select the individual PARTS of ANY figure, but not any single WHOLE figure in the group. Do you know what may be happening here? Thank You!

If you start with nothing selected the first click on an imprted item selects the whole thing, but I am not immediately seeing a way to select anything between that and the bones. This is not, however, a feature I have used at all before today. The help system does seem to cover the basic operations, but I am niot sure it helps (this does seem a lot more awkward than working in DS or another dedicated 3D application, not surprisingly) https://www.clip-studio.com/site/gd_en/csp/userguide/csp_userguide/720_3d_material/720_3d_material_item_select02.htm
