Geometry Shell Export/Pose Issue

Hiya!
When I export my Daz figure with a geometry shell, the shell doesn't export in the pose. It does this for .obj, .fbx, and Daz to C4D.
The geometry shell is posed in Daz, but the export looks like the attached image in third party software. You can see the black of the geoshell.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

None of those formats really understand what a Geometry Shell is, so it is probably not surprising that it doesn't behave as expected. That said, I am not sure why it doesn't export as a static mesh in the state it was in within Daz Studio.
FBX won't work as well as Daz to C4D bridge as it also uses FBX. Wavefront obj works for C4D and Blender, the best way is Blender + Diffeomorphic Daz Importer...
What doesn't make sense to me, is the fact you can't just copy and past the rig and the geo won't skin the same way with the character rig... Always so perfect, yet a million miles away from being game changing... -sigh-
