I know that Daz Studio uses "duf" files but can anyone explain what exactly is a "duf" file?

A .duf file contains a list of assets (textures, figures and props, morphs etc.), either as links to external files (the .dsf files in the data folder, OBJ or Poser-format files, or image files) or sometimes as actual data, and settings for the assets' parameters describing a scene, part of a scene, or settings to be applied to selected items in a scene. It is in DSON format, a variant of JSON (Javascript Serial Object Notation I think) - the format is explained here http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/dson_spec/start
Thank you for the help..... Now I understand what the file is and what it does. It helps a lot
