mirroring not working in DS

Once in a while I get a figure that won't symmetrical mirror.  It mirroris fine in Poser, but in DS it just won't work.  I'm attaching an image that shows the part names have correct naming and should mirror, but don't.  Any thoughts?

    hmmm.. trying to upload and image and the Uploading.... just sits there forever.

    Grab the url for your attachment [which we cannot all see] and use the picture box on the top ribbon of these typing boxes to put it into your post. Then we can all see it too ;-)   Our posts crossed ;-)  Okay, then we've been uploading elsewhere and then posting a link to the image.

    Without more information I wouldn't know the answer, could guess that maybe some of the poses involve morphs or were made in such a fashion that negates the symmetrical option.
