Unable to use genesis 8 or 8.1 expressions

Lately I've been unable to use genesis 8 or 8.1 expression. I reinstalled everything and got rid of all the Base Pose head and Expression files. I can't even use the expression dials. I hve basically create my own. Any ideas of the cause?

    You dialed expression sliders but nothing happened to the figure ? 
    This issue incurred to both G8.0F/M and G8.1F/M?
    You used Daz Connect or DIM to reinstall everything ?

    I used DIM. I can't seem to find Daz Connect anymore, even on the site.

    DazConnect is the system to install directly from Daz Studio.

    You're probably thinking of DazCentral (simplified version of DIM). Apparently Daz has decided to shift back to DIM as the main download manager. One of the reasons is probably because DazCentral has problems on recent versions of MacOS. DazCentral can still be downloaded from here for Windows users though: https://www.daz3d.com/dazcentral

    I tried using daz Connect though. The problem with that was that it still showed up uninstalled in DIM. I did't want to just hide them because they will only show up later on. I'm trying daz central now. I'll see if it works out. Thanks

    It didn't work. I'm just going to uninstall everything and reinstall it. I'm thinking I have to put my expressions on the local drive. maybe there a change in the the expression pointers.

    If you are using DIM (or DAZ Central) to install your content, do not log in to Daz Studio, it is only necessary when one makes a concious and informed decision to use Daz Connect inside DS as their primary method for installing content.
    When Daz Connect inside DS is installing content, it uses a different address that the other installation methods (taking twice the storage space if installed with DIM and Connect) and the installations made with Daz Connect take priority over the installations with all the other methods, even when the Daz Connect installed files are incomplete or corrupt (not uncommon).

    You didn't say from which character you "got rid of all the Base Pose head and Expression files". If you deleted the files from G8 morph folders, then you deleted ones that should not be deleted.

     The ones for G8 Male and Female were the ones you should not have removed
