Adding new textures .....

Hello guys, can anyone tell me how I add new textures to objects please ?

I've made some new 'skins' for the Yamaki truck and trailer in Photoshop but I can't seem to get them to show up in DAZ. I've done this in a similar manner to how I used to make car skins for the racing sim, rFactor, by copying the original texture, painting the new colours on to the old ones and then saving with a different file name, I've then placed my texture in to the original folder but it doesn't show up in DAZ so what am I doing wrong please guys ?

Thanks... Jon T.

The original textures will load with a Preset I imagine.   Textures don't show up in the Content Library, just the presets that load them.

Load your item, select it in the Scene pane, go to the Surfaces pane, and find the texture that you want to replace.   Browse to where it is stored, and load it, then you can save it as a new preset so that you can load it that way the next time.

To do this, go to File Save As > Materials Preset, and save it into a DAZ Studio folder (the original one would be the best), then it will be available to load from there.

Thank you Jimmy (yet again), I never thought of trying it that way, I just assumed it would show in the content folder, I'll give that a shot now!
