Can you replace a model with another model and keep your modifications?
Sorry for the long topic. Couldn't figure out how to say it. I just started using DAZ and I couldn't find an answer. (Probably because I didn't know how to word the question.)
Example: I make a Genesis 2 Male look exactly the way I want it. I then decide I want to use the Scott model. Can I replace the G2 model with Scott but keep all my morphs, skin tone, and material settings?
The reason I ask this is because I just figured out that the default G2 male has no, how shall I put it, "junk". So I'm wondering should I work with what I have. Or should I wait and buy a different model so I don't have to do a bunch of work all over again.
And, if someone would be so kind, please list the exact packages (pun intended) which I could choose from.

If you have purchased any of the pro models for the G2M (michael 6, scott 6, lee 6, etc.) line, then you do indeed have "junk" for your current model.
select your G2M model and in the smart content pane, select the anatomy category and your "junk" should be there.
It will show up without texture so you have to select the hip in the surfaces tab for G2M and "copy surfaces", then select the genitalia and go to the surface tab and "paste to surface"
It's a good diea not to put the question in the title anyway - if you do we will edit your post.
Scott is G2M, so you are using the same figure already - as kaotbliss says, if you have the G2M genitals from any pro pack they will apply to G2M - however, they don't (unlike the G2F genitals) take the body maps so if you are using a texture set that lacks genital textures you are going to have problems.
Ooooh, thanks Richard. That 2nd part (they don't take the body maps) I didn't know. I do now!
Thanks for the answers. So, I can start making morphing the default G2M figure. And then later decide if I want Scott, Michael, or whoever and I won't lose all my previous work?
Just apply the Scott or whichever morph (from the Shaping or Parametrs pane) or materials (using the preset in your content library), as desired.
