Pegasus crashes DAZ immediately

Hello everyone,
I'm new here in the forum. If my request is wrongly placed here, please info :-).
I purchased the Pegasus Wings set for DAZ Horse 3. Unfortunately I can't use them, the DAZ crashes as soon as I try to load them. The description says that the wings are very complex and that some things may have to be adjusted or switched off. But I can't get that far.
I have a PC with 32 RAM memory and an nvidia 4080. These requirements should actually be enough.
Anyone have similar experiences?
I'm grateful for every tip, because I actually think the product is great.
Best regards
(Mod edit: changed the text to normal as Formatted can create oddness.)

Better post a screenshot of the 'description'...
32 GB of RAM is a decent amount, but not massive. What Viewport Drawstyle were you using? Is this a crash, to desktop or to th crash reporter, or just the application not responding - if the latter how long have you waited? Which version of Daz Studio are you using (Help>About Daz Studio)?
I am having this issue as well. I managed to get past it and load the figure + wings, and even build a scene without crashing, but now cannot load the saved scene with it in it. I am getting the followng error:
Daz 4.21
"DAZStudio.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\plugins\dzdynamics.dll" at 0033:00000000C6DD0D39, getPluginDefinition()+519947 byte(s)"
I have the log saved as well, and may raise a ticket, but its clearly not isolated. I can't attach a screenshot as the upload appears to be broken.
I too am working 'only' with 32 GB of RAM, but I wouldn't frame it as merely 'decent'.
Is daz Studio itself starting OK, or are you starting it by opening the scene file?
One trick I've learned recently was to set the viewport to Texture Shaded, not Filament or Iray, and try again.
I'm doing some rather extensive animations with dForce, Geoshells... and sometimes I need to restart my computer or Daz Studio will error out when opening.
If you check your RAM usage while working in DS (with GPU-Z), you will find that 32GB's is not that much for DS, it wasn't some 3 years ago and now even less when using relatively new assets.
Attached is a test I made some 2 years ago to see how much RAM and VRAM was used while rendering in IRAY
Case a) just one lightweight G8 figure with lightweight clothing and hair
Case b) four similar G8 characters with architecture
Case c and d) started increasing SubD on the characters to see at which point the rendering would drop to CPU
"RAM/GB" and "VRAM/MB" taken from GPU-Z, "DS Log/GiB" taken from DS Log, no other programs were running but DS and GPU-Z
The "DS Log/GiB" is the sum of Geometry usage, Texture usage and Working Space - After Geometry and Textures, there should still be at least a Gigabyte of VRAM available for the Working space => In my case, Geometry + Textures should not exceed 4.7GiB (W10 uses 800MB's more VRAM)
Note; Case c) was already using 38GB's of RAM, even though the rendering was done on the GPU, Case d) when rendering on CPU the RAM usage went almost over my 64GB's
Tests made using RTX 2070 Super (8GB), i7-5820K, 64GB's of RAM on W7 Ultimate and DS 4.15
I have 64GB RAM and a 16GB VRAM 3080ti laptop. I can load horse 3 just find, but as soon as I try to load the wings Daz immediately crashes. version 4.21.0.5 Same ACCESS_VIOLATION error. I have attempted this multiple times.
I haven't opened a case though I saved the errorlog. Has anyone else?
I opened a case and heard back. Apparently if you load the base horse 3 without hair or texture, you can load the wings and then add texture and hair.
Thanks for sharing that. I'm having the same problem and was just about to write this thing off as a loss. This worked for me.
