Need help with The Arcane Enchantress Horns for G8F
Do the Arcane Enchantress Horns for G8F need the Fantasy Horns for G8F Volume1?

I recently picked them up and have been trying to use them with a character I've been fiddling about with, when I load them I get an errror that strongly suggests they need the Fantasy Horns, although they do load.
The page doesant mention anything about requiring anything.
Secondly when they do load, they load without the face textures and they also render white. I think the rendering white bit might have something to do with interference from a geoshell im using for the characters hoofs, but I dont remember how to fix this. Anyway, that desnt explain why they dont pick up the face textures. Any ideas? Heres a quick test render showing the issue

Nope~ As this geogratf was designed for G8F other than G8.1F, if you wanna use it on the latter, you may change the Node Name of G8.1F from 'Genesis8_1Female' to 'Genesis8Female'... (menu Edit - Figure - Scene Identification...)
Or refer to this thread: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/631436/ash-nuin-and-arcane-enchantress-horns/p1
I checked that thread, that doesnt help with the rendering white bit, and the problem with the isnt caused by using a PBR skin materials, it happens with ordinary G8 IRay materials as well. Have to copy them across manually too. But I'll have a look at the nodes. Seems rather short sighted of DAZ to design things so that G8 geografts dont automatically work with 8.1.
If its possible to change the node name of the Geograft would that help? seems that would cause less problems in the long term with the figure than changing G8.1 node name.
Anyway, to get back to the materials on the horns, when they are loaded, in the viewport there seems to be a white semi transparent surface or soimething over them and they render white. As I mentioned in the first post I have a geoshell Im using to get decent texture on the hoofs of the character. Is this geoshell causing some sort of interference and how do I fix it
Yes~ just try this: Select the Shell node, locate Opacity Strength or Cutout Opacity, set the values to 0, and lock them. As attached....
Aah, thanks very much! It was definately the geoshell I was using for the hoofs, and that fixed it.
Thank you.
