upgraded install has no iray render option?

Hi guys, I've just upgraded my D|S install from 4.5 to 4.8 but there is no iray option int he dropdown list in my render settings?

Any ideas why it's gone awol please?

It is only available in the 64 bit version, so if you are using 32 bit, that is why it isn't there I'm afraid.

can i change my version or is it OS dependant?

You need a 64 bits OS to use the 64 bits version of DS.
