Where do I find Cyclorama?

I apparentlty need this for many of the backgrounds.  But searching the Daz store for this had become an exercise in frustration.  is there an easy way to search for the product I need?

Is not the Multiplane Cyclorama included with the free G2M starter essentials (i.e. the beach scene)? I know that it also used to be included with the free content that came with DAZ Studio 3.1.

The Beach Scene in the Starter Essentials does only include the Cyclorama and the Beach Textures. The product in the DAZ Shop comes with more textures. It seems to be the same geometry base. Pretty sure most Texture Sets (paid or free) work on the Cyclorama in the Starter Essentials.

DAZ reworked the Cyclorama and all the texture sets some time ago into .duf-Format. With installing the updates I have the Cyclorama in multiple locations in My Library, old and new versions. Just to lazy to remove the old ones by hand. :-)

With a fresh install of the G2M Starter Essentials it is in:

    My Library/Environments/Landscapes/MultiplaneCyclorama/

(Slightly off-topic) Some DAZ models (Merlin's "The Church" is one) come with panoramic components. Others have a sky "dome" which in some ways is kind of like a "top" for a cyclorama.

Wikipedia English has an article about the history of cyclorama.

Incredibly, for me cyclorama came up in my current reading -- history of WW2 mostly, and postwar Europe... a company in Germany named Assis apparently operates a number of cycloramas of subjects like the Berlin Wall. Note the tell-tale round "cyclorama" building that houses the display: http://www.asisi.de/panoramas/the-wall/bildergalerie.html

Hope this was of interest. smiley
