How to make a plane doens't reflect light?
What settings on the surface need to change?

Which render engine and shader are being used? Editor tab of Render Settings will give the render engine (probably Iray) and if you select the plane with the Surface Selection tool the top-left of the Editor tab of the Surfaces pane will give the shader.

Then set Glossy Layered Weight to 0.

    It still reflects the light.

I just want to make a pitch dark ground.

Ok, I've found a way, just using the backdrop - black

All surface layers with 'weight' have to be zeroed, as well as Metalicity which will override 'all weights', then it'll be a 'pitch dark' with black color ~

If you just want it just to be black, you can set a grey emission colour, and give it a high negative luminance.
