Dark Renders After dforce simulation of imported OBJ?

Hello,

Has anyone encountered darkened renders after running a dforce simulation on an imported OBJ article of clothing?  Renders show up fine after only importing the OBJ item.  Once the dforce simulation is run, all frames in which the dforce sim has altered the clothing OBJ come out very dark.

When I delete the OBJ the renders return to the expected lighting.

It doesn't seem reasonable that an imported OBJ with dforce applied would be able to affect rendering and/or lighting.

I am willing to provide any additional info which may help.

Thank you

What if the simulated object obscures your lighting, such as a curtain? Hard to say, because we can't see the simulated object in your image.

What is the object? Are you sure it isn't being blown up by the simulation so that it blocks any external light source?
