Tell Me What Was The Early-bird Benefit of Buying Daz Horse 3 in Dec 2022?

Can someone explain to me what was the Early-bird Benefit of buying Daz Horse 3 in Dec 2022? I need a poke because I am beginning to thing there was no benefit at all, certainly not a fulfilled promise of such.

I've asked in the forum multiple times, but got no real answer. Richard said we should submit a ticket.

Thank-you. Any idea how to word it effectively?

I seem to remember wording to the effect that we would receive preferred access to horse hair products. Perhaps that was the 10% discount on Design Anvil's horse hair expansion.

But I'm not skilled enough to make the current dForce mane and hair presentable---and by the looks of the promos I've seen, very few are. I've taken daveso's approach, and I refused to buy any poses or the low quality tacks or the carpet-like materials. I'm hoping Linday will save DH3.

The extra 10% discount on the DA product was based on Daz Horse 2 and 3 ownership. Anyone could have purchased Daz Horse 3 at any time to qualify. The 10% discount message said nothing about being related to the Sleight Ride Bundle purchase that promised "Plus, for a limited time only, the Sleigh Ride Bundle includes early access to Daz Horse 3. You'll also get upgraded access to all Daz Horse 3 features once released, including morphs for different sizes and breeds, improved mane and tail, additional textures, and more!" So, as far as I can tell, we've received nothing for being an early purchaser. I have submitted a ticket to ask about this, but there's no reply yet.

Then right after thanking me for owning Daz Horse 2 and Daz Horse 3, they offered my a chance to get Daz Horse 2 free if I purchased a newly mad release. How dumb is that?

Thanks for the actual quote. I guess the wiggle room is to be found in "upgraded access," a nebulous phrase at best. There have been additional textures, a mane and tail expansion---neither of which had an upgrade in access---but no morphs for different sizes and breeds, unless they mean the misnamed thoroughbred morph that un-coneheaded and de-bug-eyed the first morph. I'm not really expecting a satisfactory resolution.

Unfortunately I thought the same things after the Victoria 9 pre-sale release and I still fell for the Sleigh Ride Bundle with Daz Horse 3 and the Reindeer. I expect I will fall for the next gimmick and get mad at myself again.

What I think is the core of our disappointment was the failure of quality control in the products.

The real question should be about the high prices and lack of real sales going on the past three years now. I'd have to look but I think I spent $3 so far total during March Madness. Wishlisted a lot of items I want but have no current need. I've learned not to be swayed by shiney objects and flashing lights.
