GPU vs CPU: Future Upgrades?

So, I'm looking to upgrade in the near future to try and get some better performance out of Daz. My question is.. GPU vs CPU. What would make the most impact on performance?

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
  • BOARD: Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING
  • RAM: TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR4-3600 
  • GPU: (2x) MSI VENTUS XS OC GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB

    That GPU is not going to get you far, get a RTX 3060 12GB instead.

    Just tried a rtx3060 12gb

    Same scene, the rtx3060 took 5 minutes longer to render
    I'm attempting rendering without the CPU now

    RTX 2060 6GB x2
    & CPU

    		 22:45
    RTX 3060 12GB
    & CPU    		 27:38

    OK, with only the GPU selected..

    RTX 3060 12GB, no GPU - 28:05
    So, not big difference.. next test.. RTX3060 & RTX2060

    OK, now we're seeing something
    RTX3060 (12gb) & RTX2060 (6gb), that same scene only took 17:04
    hmmmm.. I do have one more pcie slot.. Gonna throw that 2nd RTX2060 in and see what happens.. so that'll be 3 GPU's
    (evil mad scientist laugh)

    ok.. no can do. Yes, I have a 3rd PCIe slot.. but the cards are too tall, I can't get the 3rd card in.
    Either way, I'd say I've achived a vast improvement :)

    Your first list said RTX 2060 6GB, if it's 12GB then ok.
