can the bangs be straight on this hair?

All the promo photos show one side or the other of the bangs being drawn back. One photo in the group photo has both sides drawn back, but there are no promo photos of the bangs being straight across. 
Can they be straight?

FWIW, my initial testing shows that the left side bangs can be pretty straight but even after tweaking everything that seems relevant, the right-side bangs seem to retain the rightward curve:

There's a setting called "Bang Partical Bends" for R and L. Based on comparing the functionality of the two, and the resulting effect, it's almost as if the R one is not working as intended. "Bang Partical Bends L" moves the entire left half of the bangs to be either straight or increasingly off to the left; but Bang Partical Bends R" only moves a small section of hair - specifically, the long, stray piece you see here, oddly off to the right. I unlocked the setting limit and that's what it does at an extreme setting.

(And yes, I see the same behavior when using the hair on the G8F figure the hair was intended for - this just seemed more fun, plus I was testing Mr. Khan here at lunch.)
