Where is the current upto date SDK for Carrara 8.5

It seems the helpcenter has us at 8.1 and the link to the SDK is dead. Does anyone have the current SDK Link? Especially to 8.5 for unlocking figures etc.

went to carrara cafe. came across a link for a python editor for carrara 7. ... forgot to bookmark it >.<

Updated the SDK news page at CarraraCafe, includes a new link to Visual Studio that always includes a free version for individual developers.

Do we have latest Reference document available in PDF format for writing plugins for Carrara?
I'm afraid such document does not exist. In the "doc" directory of the SDK archive, there are 2 documents:
They seem more or less up to date (there are a few errors, specifically in the cookbook where modifications in the example sources have not been reported).
The only "reference" document are the include files.
The API Reference is in a earlier version C8_SDK_8.0.0.215. It's in HTML format.
I copied it over to the C8_SDK_8.1.1.12 Doc-directory.
The downloadlinks for older SDKs on CarraraCafe.com are broken.

This link should work - SDK 8.1.1.12
That link is fine. But the links of older ones are not. It is the older 8.0.0.215 SDK that holds the API reference.
FYI, the above link has some trailing characters on it that confuse the archive server, but a slightly tweaked link still works!

Maybe rk66 can consolidate that version on carrara-cafe too - CC is truly a godsend for the remaining Carrara gems.
