The whole scene.

What do you do to get a whole scene from daz into unreal engine? Would grouping or parenting it all to one figure get the whole scene across,?

not sure if it can work or its worth it but, a (way to) simple answer is check the export panel and use obj, not sure if fbx is better

istances are not exported in obj

  • No need to group or parent.  You can export everything as an FBX and then import the FBX into UE.  Or use the DAZtoUnreal bridge.  Once the meshes are imported, select them all and drag and drop them into the Unreal Engine scene all at once. They will be positioned correctly just like in DAZ Studio.

  • Thank you both for the advice. I'll try it all once I get my new machine ready ;)
