Saving Character and Costume?

I'd like to save a variety of background figures...both the figure and their hair/clothes. Saving as a Character Preset seems to just save the figure, not the clothes. Is there a way to save it all?

    yeah scene subset does is just great for me. you can also do that with anything else. props sets , eveniroments etc :-).

    Just one thing to be careful about when saving a scene subset; some clothes, hair, accessories etc. automatically parent to the figure when they load, some don't. The ones that do parent won't appear in the tick-selection-box list that comes up when you do the save, the ones that don't parent will appear in the list separately from the figure. It's a bit confusing at first, but you'll soon get used to it.
