side-by-side configuration is incorrect (Solved)
Since Bryce Pro can not run on Mac OS Yasmite, I am trying to run Bryce Pro on Win 7.
But I get an error message whenever I start the Bryce Pro!
PS: "The application has fail to start because side-by-side configuration is incorrect"
How can I fix this problem?

There is a thread here http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/7516/help-bryce-7-pro-crashes-on-launch-side-by-side-error-windows-error which gives you solutions.
Thank you, Chohole.
I have re-installed the vcredist_x86 and vcredist_x64 for many times in the last whole week but it does not work.
BTW, does "language version" matter?
Never mind, I will leave it up to Chohole, I misread your post, sorry.
Try this one

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)
The Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package installs runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries required to run applications developed with Visual C++ on a computer that does not have Visual C++ 2010 installed.
I see nothing.
But, thank you anyway, JimmyC_2009. :)
OK, I will try again when I go back my old home.
Thank you, Chohole.
PS: My old i7 PC is in my old home. And no internet connection.
From the attached image, you can see I have tried a lot of VCdist since Sept. 1st.
PS: I have not tried those I have download yesterday.
One thing, both the 64 and 32 bit packages need to be matching versions.
YOu don't actually need the 64 bit one for Bryce, as it is only a 32bit program.
Yes, but on a system wide basis, a mismatch can cause problems.
Finally, the problem has been solved.
Thank you, all.
The version I used is vcredist_X86.EXE (2.7MB)(compressed file).
Because it is compressed file, I can not see the version number from its "property" while I can see the version number from the property of the other vcredist_x86.EXE!!
PS: I have un-instlled all the vcredist before I re-instll that vcredist_x86.EXE (2.7MB)
It is vcredist 2005 x86 version.
