What shader + settings for magic staff wood ?

Hello, I need to reshade a staff, think of Gandalf the Grey's kind of staff; but when I use most wood shaders they are very very polished and shiny, way too much, and if I make them less glossy they just look like plastic.
I tried a free bark one from DAZ but then it looks a bit too unpolished, like some very raw druid's staff.
Would you have an idea of what shader would look good for the wood of a mage's staff ?

Maybe you could try one of these:

I don't really know of a standalone shader, but I can offer a few free items that may have suitable materials which could be copied.
The oldest is the door tread in my 'Rigged Wall & Door Freebie here: (https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/87514/rigged-wall-and-door-prop-corrected) and the newer one being the wood in my 'Spring things' here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/488846/freebie-spring-thing
There are a couple of other materials that might do it: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/595151/lutyens-garden-bench, https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/553536/jewellery-box-prop and maybe the wood from the pen accessories here: (https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/90449/pen-accessories)
They should do the job if you copy the materials and paste into the staff material after it has been hit with the DAZ Uber shader. The textures are all CC0 license that I've found and I'm re-distributing with my freebies. Full license & required credit is included in the freebies.
I think the bench, spring things and door tread use the same texture, or the same texture rotated 90degrees.

Richard
Thanks for the help, both of you ! Richard, I will try the ones that you offer ASAP and I have also wishlisted the new shaders.
Ancient Boards might work. Some of them look like solid wood.
I think Lou_harper is right.
Here is a quick "staff" with one of the shaders. I knocked the displacement up some.
