Tips for searching the forums and store

Hello,

Whenever I have a question regarding an item or product that has been used, or if I am looking for a specific forum thread or product in the store, I try to do a search before I post a question. However, it seems that my searching skills are not very good as I am frequently unable to find what I am looking for, while other folks seem to be able to hunt things down with more success.

So I would like to know if anyone has any tips that can help me to better search the forums and store, or point me towards an existing forum thread that can give me tips on how to do better searches?

    What methods are you using to search?

    I am just using the basic forum search or store search options found at or near the top of the forum pages or store pages.

    Use Google instead, just did a search for very specific post and it was found immediately with;

    "Lost my marbles" site:https://www.daz3d.com/forums/

    That should be "site" instead of "https" of course.

    ANd I wonder whether you found a bunch of my posts? wink

    I found THE post I have searched for so many times for the name of the test program (OCCT) and I remembered you lost your marbles at the computer shop laugh
