pwCatch and Iray
Hi,
I've just bought pwCatch, and following the tutorial at http://poseworks.com/shaders/pwcatch
When I render an image in 3Delight, it works fine:
However, when I render the same image in Iray, it no longer works:
The pwCatch shaders are under the "Default" category, not under Iray, so that explains why the Iray version looks like it does.
My question is: can this product be made to work with Iray? If it can, how?
Thanks,
Ati2

pwCatch is a custom 3Delight shader, so it won't work at all in IRay.
That's too bad. :( Is there a similar solution for Iray?
The ground plane in Iray is a shadow catcher without anything else required.
The "ground" should work in this case, for other cases where you need a shadow catcher check this:

Hmm, it is... Turns out to be a pretty stupid question then...
Thanks! :)
Perfect, thank you!
There is no such thing as a stupid question, there are only experts who have forgotten what it was like when they were a newbie.
Cheers,
Alex.
