Is EA Amara for Genesis 8 Female really G8?

Hi,
can anyone tell me if the character "EA Amara for Genesis 8 Female" released today is Genesis 9 or Genesis 8? According to the name and description she is a Genesis 8 character and according to the docs she installs in "People:Genesis 8 Female:Characters", however the Genesis 9 Starter Essentials are required and the last characters of Eichhorn Art were already Genesis 8.1 (partially including the G8 variant).
Going back from G8.1 to G8 would really surprise me.

If there is just ane error in the requirements, you are welcome to take this thread as a hint

Can someone who bought the character help me?

    The file list in the read me is autogenerated, and her morphs are all categorised as G8.0:

    I suppose it's theoretically possible her morph was created on G8.0 and her materials were made to go on G8.1, which you can't definitively tell from the file list unless the vendor clearly has "face" and "head" as different texture sets, but she's definitely not G9, the files are in the wrong place for that.

    The file list is certainly interesting. The textures are all in a folder named G3F, making it sound like this is actually an old product.

    well the UVs are the same so likely reused a G3 texture resource

    I have a few of their characters and all of their textures are in the G3F folder (G3, G8). I guess they didn't bother to rename the folder between generations.

    Really a G8 character....just did a render of the body/head shape and texture on my G8 base figure.

    seems like a sneaky advert that one, I've just bought it too, surely to put a product in a prime spot of an advert we should be on 8.1 as a minimum, or at an absolute least make it a G8 advert? I cant remember the last G8 I saw on a principal advert, also she was the main artwork too so it just doesnt register as G8 when you look on.   Are people thinking the same?  I read that as 9!

    ...getting old, terrible reading, late at night in UK, but hell I think I've been played!!! Haha...

    Yep, I did not change my folder names ;)

    But I will stay now with G8 and only release characters for this Generation.

    Thank you for making me aware of this thread and I hope this information helps a bit.

    Do you see this description, too? Genesis 8 Female is now the compatible product.

    I guess it was a system bug, it is now fixed (if I read that correctly).

    zbrush uses your CPU in the main which i guess is modelling in its most literal digital form, attached file is a great system requirements overview as such...
