Is it worth having 2X3090s in NVLINK when it does not work in Daz?
It has been a while since this was asked, but I tried NVLink with a pair of 3090s and then later with 4x 3090s. My experience was something like this:
1.) SLI worked best when done in a completely headless environment.
2.) There was a performance hit when rendering in SLI vs multi-GPU.
3.) To make it work required using deprecated drivers.
4.) It was difficult to switch from SLI to a non-SLI configuration and back again.
5.) The rest of the system needed to be ready to handle the larger caching requirements.

A 48 GB GPU resolves all but point #5.
