Applying Mesh Smoother?

Daz Studio Question; Either the software or my machine (mac pro 3,1) slows down with a yellow scroll bar at the bottom of the frame. To the left are the words "applying mesh smoother." This is really annoying as it slows down my work.  I tried reducing the viewport resolution to Wireframe thinking this would speed things up, but it still wants to apply that smoother.  Any way to shut this off?

yes, for each item you can control this on it's own. You can save turning this back on for the final render.

It will be listed in the parameters tab(enable smoothing). It will come up if you search for smooth...or you can just scroll through the "all" or general list to find it. It may turn itself back on when you restart the program/reload the scene. Some items have this setting enabled by default. Just disable it till you are getting closer to your final render time.

This is common practice for me, particularly with items with higher level of smoothing.

Interactive update is another one that slows things down, only a handful of items have this one by default and it also is safe to disable if you encounter it.
