Love the look of my Iray renders, but the eyes look a bit dull...they need some reflection and moisture. When I look under Surfaces, the Cornea has a Water Thin "tag"...whatever that is. Is there a better way to set the eyes for realistic reflections?
Some people use Glass-Thin, but either will probably work. The important point is that because the eye surface has virtualy no thickness in its gemetry, the Thin Walled option needs to be turned on. This compensates for the thin geometry, and forces the engine to do apply some custom math to make the surface behave as if it hase a more realistic thickness.
If you are looking to not use artificial reflections on the eye surface, you sould look for and apply a corneal bulge morph to make the eyes more rounded. This gives them a shape that will more properly reflect light from the environment. And of course, now you need to provide that light. There are no specular reflections in the eyes if the lighting is flat.
How "wet" the eyes look is a function of the glossy and/or top coat settings, as well as removing any competing settings, such as roughness, which gives objects a matte, non-reflective look. You have control over these.

Corneal bulge morph?? That's what I'm missing, will be hunting for one now!!
G3F comes with one...
And I have one for G2F on my ShareCG page.

Thanks for this mjc1016 very handy indeed!
